Why we picked it

In a Japanese home the bed sits close to the floor, and that low line is what makes a Japandi bedroom feel so calm. This frame keeps it simple: a walnut-finish wood platform, no headboard, nothing to dust. Add linen bedding and a low nightstand and the room is done.

Good to know before you buy

  • Size: king (a queen version is also sold on Homary).
  • Material: FSC-certified wood with a walnut finish.
  • Height: very low; the mattress sits just above the floor.

What to consider: getting up from a floor bed takes some getting used to, and there is no storage underneath.
